Minanggao Pulan is a conscious lifestyle brand that aims to provide Chamorros and other Oceanic peoples with unique and creative ways to express our stories. Our imagery is an expression of Chamorro identity that is grounded in our histories and envisions a more vibrant future. Minanggao Pulan is founded on the belief that regardless of our geographic locations, Chamorro genealogy and identities should be celebrated in our everyday lives, everywhere and anywhere we may go.
Minanggao Pulan started with two Chamorritas finding a common love for their islands and culture. Lia is a Marianas bred weaver, aspiring spear fisherwoman, and lover of all things pink. Jesi, a San Diego grown Chamoru, is a Pacific and Indigenous Studies professor in Aotearoa, decolonial museum advocate, and loves wearing all of Lia’s woven masterpieces.
